Our parent company is a Danish holding Agro East A/S, owned by 70 Danish farmers. Each co-owner of Agro East A/S is an experienced businessman and a farmer who contributes his share into development of the subsidiary companies.


Minority shareholder is IFU, which is an independent Danish government-owned fund. Since 1967 IFU offers advisory services and risk capital to companies wishing to do business in developing countries and emerging markets. In its activity IFU focuses on country’s development and corporate social responsibility. At the moment IFU runs about 800 projects in 88 countries with about USD 2 bn of own investments.

We also have partner relations with Nordic Environment Finance Corporation (NEFCO) – an International Financial Institution established by the Nordic Governments in 1990. NEFCO`s activities focus on creating innovative financial instruments, which help create positive environmental outcomes and fight climate change. NEFCO’s financing is aimed at increasing use of the best Nordic Solutions in terms of experience and practices.


Success of Dan-Farm Ukraine contributed to the fact that Danish investors decided to expand production outside Kyiv region. They chose an old pig farm in village of Grozyne, Zhytomyr region. The farm was reconstructed in accordance with Ukrainian and Danish standards and equipped with the latest technologies. Investments in regional development amounted to 10-12 million euros. Today, DFU Agro is a subsidiary of Dan-Farm Ukraine.
